ECUST Food Dataset (ECUSTFD)

ECUST Food Dataset (ECUSTFD)是由华东理工大学信息科学与工程学院创建的一个包含2978张食物图片的数据集。每张图片都附带有食物的标注、体积和质量记录，以及一个校准参考（一元硬币）。数据集内容涵盖19种食物，包括苹果、香蕉等，每种食物都有多个视角的图片。创建过程中，使用智能手机拍摄，确保每张图片中不超过两种食物，且包含一元硬币作为校准对象。该数据集主要应用于计算机视觉技术，用于食物热量估算，旨在帮助肥胖患者更准确地记录和控制食物摄入量，从而改善健康状况。

ECUST Food Dataset (ECUSTFD) was developed by the School of Information Science and Engineering, East China University of Science and Technology. It is a dataset consisting of 2978 food images, each paired with food annotations, volume and mass records, and a calibration reference (Chinese one-yuan coin). The dataset covers 19 food categories including apples, bananas, etc., with multiple perspective images provided for each food type. During its construction, images were captured using smartphones, ensuring that no more than two food types appear in each image and the Chinese one-yuan coin is included as the calibration object. This dataset is mainly applied in computer vision technologies for food calorie estimation, aiming to help obese patients accurately record and control their food intake to improve their health status.
