Comparative gene expression profiling of high-grade serous ovarian cancer cells exposed to cisplatin or CX-5461

We use RNA-seq to characterise the transcriptional programs of proliferating OVCAR3, OVCAR4, OVCAR8, AOCS14 and AOCS30 cells versus those undergoing cisplatin- or CX-5461-induced senescence. Overall design: OVCAR3, OVCAR4, OVCAR8, AOCS14 and AOCS30 cells were exposed to cisplatin, CX-5461, or vehicle controls for 48 hours. The drug was washed out and replaced with fresh media. At 6 days post-washout, total RNA was extracted for RNA-seq.
