Field weighing and sorting dataset of municipal solid waste collected at waste collection points, Tripoli, Libya (2024–2025)

This dataset contains the complete field weighing and sorting records of 180 municipalsolid waste samples collected from 15 waste collection points across three zones ofTripoli, Libya, during four sampling campaigns (summer and winter of 2024 and 2025).Each sample was prepared to a standardised net mass of 24.80 kg and manually sortedinto ten components: vegetable residues, bones, fruit peels, bread residues, paper,textiles, plastics, glass, metals, and other materials (residual). The supplementaryworkbook includes the corrected 180-row dataset, a data dictionary, a validationsummary, and a 55-entry corrections log documenting every archival fix with its reasonand evidence. The R script reproduces all statistical results reported in theassociated manuscript. No measured value was altered.
