NRS-8079 | Registers of group settlement purchases

These registers record sale and payments for land purchases under a returned soldier settlement scheme. The following information is given: district, group purchase number, name of purchaser, date of confirmation, block and portion number, area, price per acre, capital value, amount and date of payment of purchase money, amounts and dates of payments of instalments, interest account (amount of instalment, date of credit, interest, date of credit), remarks. Each register is prefixed by an alphabetical list of soldiers' group purchase estates which lists the name of the estate, whether the receipt is from the Closer Settlement Account or the General Loan Account, and the district. From 1 July 1928 amounts previously paid to the General Loan Account were payable to the Closer Settlement Account. (3/6541-43). 3 vols.
