Climate Mitigation or Pollution Transfer? The Institutional Moderating Effect in Addressing Climate Impacts of African Waste Trade

This repository contains the replication dataset for the study entitled "Climate Mitigation or Pollution Transfer? The Institutional Moderating Effect in Addressing Climate Impacts of African Waste Trade". The dataset is constructed as a panel covering selected African economies, integrating indicators from UN Comtrade, the World Development Indicators (WDI), and the Worldwide Governance Indicators (WGI). It includes variables on waste trade flows (imports and exports), greenhouse gas emissions (aggregated GHG, CH4, N2O), institutional quality (Government Effectiveness), and relevant socioeconomic control variables.
