Previous studies analysing the relationship between PZA resistance and treatment outcome have measured PZA resistance using pDST, but the association between gDST and MIC with interim and final treatment outcomes is unknown. Therefore, we performed a retrospective analysis including all patients with MDR-TB in Sweden analysing Mycobacterium tuberculosis PZA resistance measured by gDST and MIC compared to sputum culture conversion and treatment outcome.
