Digital Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at Box Bush Farm, North End Road, Yatton, North Somerset 2022

This collection comprises images and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation carried out by Cotswold Archaeology on land at Box Bush Farm, Yatton, North Somerset. The work was undertaken in August 2022 as part of a planning requirement. A total of 3 trenches were excavated.
Two abraded sherds of pottery of broad Roman date were recovered from the subsoil within a trench excavated in the southwestern part of the site. Small quantities of pottery of medieval and post-medieval date were also recovered as unstratified finds in the locations of trenches excavated in the south-western and southeastern parts of the site. An undated curving ditch, of indeterminate function, was identified in a trench excavated in the south-western part of the site. A further undated ditch, probably relating to land management and/or division, was also identified in this trench.
