Urban Façade Solar Irradiance Dataset for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

This dataset supports the study: "Transformer-Based Surrogate Modeling for Large-Scale Urban Façade Solar Irradiance Prediction" It contains urban façade geometry, solar physics features, and simulated façade irradiance data for the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Files included: 1. riyadh_building_walls.csv - Extracted façade segments with geographic coordinates, orientation (azimuth), and wall length. 2. riyadh_facade_dataset.csv - Intermediate façade dataset used for preprocessing. 3. urban_facade_dataset_physics.csv - Physics-based dataset including solar geometry (zenith, azimuth), temporal variables, and radiation components (DNI, DHI, GHI). 4. urban_facade_irradiance_dataset.csv - Final dataset containing façade solar irradiance values used for model training and evaluation. Solar radiation data were obtained from the NASA POWER project:https://power.larc.nasa.gov/ Building data were derived from OpenStreetMap:https://www.openstreetmap.org/ This dataset enables reproducible research on urban solar potential estimation and machine learning-based surrogate modeling.
