资源简介:

Basis functions, such as spherical harmonics, Green’s functions, disk functions, and Slepian functions, are commonly used to relate surface loads with Earth's deformation. Here, we make an assessment of six basis functions, including the above four and two newly developed approaches of infinite Green functions and clustered disk-load Green functions. Using CSR-Mascon (https://www2.csr.utexas.edu/grace/RL06_mascons.html) of 2020-01 (up-scaled to 2 degree) as the surface load, we forward model Earth's global vertical displacement with five basis functions excluding Slepian because it is infeasible for global study. The surface load and the five vertical displacement fields obtained are uploaded here in 'res.hdf5' for verification and comparison. The related Python code to perform the forward modeling with these five basis functions are provided in PyGDP-main.zip as well. The structure of 'res.hdf5' is as follows:res.hdf5||--Load_mascon_ewh (90, 180)|--Uplift_CDLGF (90, 180)|--Uplift_DLGF (90, 180)|--Uplift_finite_LGF (90, 180)|--Uplift_infinite_LGF (90, 180)|--Uplift_spherical_harmonic (90, 180)|--description (1,)|--lat (90,)|--lon (180,)
