Following trypsinization, glioma cells were collected and adjusted to a density of 1×10⁶ cells per sample in a 15 mL conical centrifuge tube. The cells were washed twice with pre-cooled PBS and fixed in 70% ethanol overnight at 4°C. Subsequently, the fixed cells were stained with propidium iodide according to the manufacturer's instructions of the cell cycle detection kit (Beyotime, Shanghai, China). DNA content analysis was then performed using a flow cytometer (BD Accuri C6 Plus), and the resulting data were analyzed to determine the cell cycle distribution.
