Data for: Biosynthetic homeostasis and resilience of the complement system in health and infectious disease

All figures for 32 complement proteins determined by an MRM multiplex mass spectrometry assay targeting 64 peptides. The study group was comprised of 44 bacterial (B) and 31 viral (V) infected patients (P) and 43 controls (C), ranging from 0 to 55 years old. The complement levels were compared between these groups based on type of infection, age and gender. A subset of the bacterial infections were followed at multiple timepoints.
