METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF STUDYING EPITHETS IN MODERN EDUCATION

This study is devoted to the analysis of methodological approaches to the study of epithets in the modern educational process, based on the achievements of linguopoetics and stylistics. The paper examines the role of the epithet as an important means of artistic expression that shapes imagery and emotional richness in a text. Based on the works of domestic and foreign scholars, effective teaching methods aimed at developing students’ analytical and imaginative thinking are identified. Particular attention is paid to the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the analysis of literary texts. The results of the study confirm that systematic work with epithets contributes to improving speech competence and deepening the understanding of literary works.
