Acidisoma sp. strain 7E03 (=NBRC 103875 =BCC 37002) was isolated from Oryza sativa growing in the actual acid sulfate soil area of Thailand. Strain 7E03 is plant growth promoting rhizobacteria. The genome sequence of strain 7E03 provides information on the mechanisms of acid tolerance and plant growth promotion in actual acid sulfate soil.
