The Impact of Environmental Factors on Pedestrian Accident Severity Using Association Rules Mining: A Case Study From Qom, Iran

This research investigates the correlation between environmental factors such as light, precipitation, and temperature, and the severity of pedestrian accidents in Qom. By employing association rule mining, patterns between these factors and pedestrian injury severity were identified. The findings indicate that environmental factors have a significant impact on accident severity and can be utilized to enhance pedestrian safety.
