Semi-Structured Literature Review: Business Process Management

This dataset presents the results of a systematic literature review addressing the development and adoption of Business Process Management (BPM). A total of 92 articles were analyzed. The authors identified BPM environment, business BPM methodology, and process modeling as the main areas of study in this field. From the review, they also traced the prominent relationships between these areas of study and emerging concepts in BPM, such as Industry 4.0, competitive advantage, performance measurement, and SMEs, among others. This version includes the journal and Scimago rankings for each manuscript.
