C. songorica is an important forage grass and ecological grass and grows in saline, semi-arid and desert areas of Northwest China, such as Inner Mongolia where average annual rainfall is 110mm. Here, we carried out a genome-wide scanning using a strand-specific RNA_seq of 24 cDNA libraries to discover and characterize lncRNAs and mRNA of C. songorica challenged by water stress and recovery.
