Transcriptomic analysis revealed that differentially expressed genes in the absence of AoSte12 were involved in mycelial growth, development process,conidiation, cell nucleus and trap formation. WT (represented by A) and ΔAoste12 (represented by B) strains grown on cellophane-overlaid CMY plates at 28°C for 5 and 7 days, three replicates were used for each sample. After collecting the samples, RNA was extracted with the AxyPrep Multisource RNA Miniprep Kit (Axygen, Jiangsu, China), and then sent to Majorbio Bio-Pharm Technology Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China) to construct the transcriptome of WT and ΔAoste12 strains. The final cDNA library was sequenced on an Illumina Novaseq 4000 platform.
