This dataset can be used to study spillover effects. The variable superstar is a dummy which equals one if either had played against the future champion in its last match. Data still contains matches before and after weeks with international play (like the UEFA Champions League). Data was abstracted from www.football-data.co.uk and www.rsssf.com.<br>
