We have undertaken an exhaustive characterization of the soil microbiome in Taoyuan (TY) and compared with the regular yield site soil in Jinghong (JH). Here we have used deep sequencing of soil microbial 16S and ITS rRNA genes and metagenomic (total 240 Gb clean data) and assist with rice root transcriptome data to detect microbial community and function characteristic in two sites with four rice growth stages to reveal the potential microbial mechanisms which promote ultra-high yield.
