Morphostratigraphic differentiation of coastal alluvial fans and associated sample areas for Schmidt hammer exposure dating at the south-central coast of the Atacama Desert

This dataset contains shapefiles of (i) the mapped morphostratigraphy of 12 multi-stage coastal alluvial fans distributed along the south-central coast of the Atacama Desert and (ii) the associated sample areas for Schmidt hammer exposure dating. Polygons are provided as ESRI shapefiles (.shp) and in the projected coordinate system WGS 1984 UTM Zone 19S.
