For each original image of <i>in situ</i> multi-gene mRNA co-detection for pig lungs, the name follows the format of piglet number-hybridization round number-imaged region number, where the piglet is numbered A (infection) or C (control). The original images of two pigs from ASFV early infection groups are respectively numbered A2 and A3, and those of three pigs from late infection groups are respectively numbered A4, A5 and A6. Meanwhile, the original images of two pigs from early mock groups are respectively numbered C2 and C3, and those of three pigs from late mock groups are numbered C4, C5 and C6. The hybridization round number of Mip-seq <i>in situ</i> hybridization from the first to the fifth rounds is denoted by letter A to E, and the distinct imaged region number denotes different imaged field of the same slice. For example, A2-A-1 indicates the first imaged field of the first round of hybridization in the slice of the piglet A2 from early infection group.For the original image of <i>in situ</i> multi-gene mRNA co-detection for pig spleens, the name follows the format of piglet number- imaged region number since only single round hybridization was performed.
