Topics/cues Internalised Stigma Experiences: shame/depression/social withdrawal/outlook about life, early reactions to news of cancer diagnosis, self-image; personal response to stigma/discrimination from family members and the public. External Stigma Experiences: any labelling, actions of discrimination due to cancer diagnosis from family members, treatment providers etc. Influence of age, marital status, type of cancer on stigmatization Any unique gendered experiences of the cancer stigma Implications of the cancer illness and treatment side effects on masculinities or femininities Experiences with hospital and non-hospital treatment including quality of treatment. Challenges experienced by cancer patients
