Generative AI Adoption in 3D Animation Production: A Pipeline-Wide Empirical Benchmark of Early-career practitioner perceptions and the HGAI Hybrid Pipeline Framework
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the figures accompanying the research paper: "Generative AI Adoption in 3D Animation Production: A Pipeline-Wide Empirical Benchmark of Early-career practitioner perceptions and the HGAI Hybrid Pipeline Framework" (Multimedia Tools and Applications, Special Issue 1263 — Rich Media with Generative AI: Creation, Control, and Efficient Representation). Overview:The included files provide the survey-derived data visualizations and the proposed framework diagram supporting a cross-sectional mixed-method study (N = 126) examining GenAI adoption across the 3D animation production pipeline. The study identifies a 35.2 percentage-point adoption gap between pre-production stages (storyboarding 45.6%, concept art 41.6%) and technical stages (rigging assistance 16.0%, denoising 10.4%), and introduces the Human-Guided AI (HGAI) Hybrid Pipeline Framework — a three-phase model (AI-Led, Hybrid, Human-Led) calibrated to the observed adoption and reliability data. Contents:The archive includes 11 figures corresponding to the manuscript:* Fig. 1a–1b: Respondent role distribution (primary role; breakdown of "Other" responses)* Fig. 2: Professional experience distribution* Fig. 3: Adoption intensity distribution* Fig. 4: GenAI applications used across pipeline stages* Fig. 5: Perceived impact of GenAI across five production dimensions* Fig. 6: Distribution of perceived reliability ratings* Fig. 7: Perceived likelihood of industry disruption within five years* Fig. 8: Primary barriers to GenAI integration* Fig. 9: Strategic R&D priorities for future GenAI development* Fig. 10: The HGAI Hybrid Pipeline Framework diagram Usage Note:Image files are named according to their corresponding figure numbers in the manuscript for ease of reference. Version 2.0 changes:- Added TIFF versions of all figures (1200 DPI, RGB) for print/production use.- Updated the Phase 2 adoption range label in Fig. 10 (HGAI Hybrid Pipeline Framework) to 20.0–39.0%, consistent with Table 2 and the manuscript text.
