KIF4A and PP2A–B56 form a spatially restricted feedback loop opposing Aurora B at the anaphase central spindle

Shown is FRAP imaging of KIF4A turnover in HeLa cells expressing eGFP-KIF4A (white) and treated with B56 gamma and B56 epsilon siRNAs. Thymidine-synchronized HeLa cells expressing eGFP-KIF4A and treated with B56 gamma and B56 epsilon siRNAs were imaged 8 hr after the thymidine washout step. When cells were in anaphase, the central spindle pool was photobleached using the 488nm laser and cells were followed for recovery. Scale bar is 10µm.
