The Global Reservoir and Dam Database (GRanD), a product of the Global Water System Project, is a georeferenced database containing records of reservoirs and their associated dams. Its initial release included 6,862 records with a total storage capacity of 6,197 km³. Although it has been superseded by the GDW database, it remains accessible. The database is managed by McGill University and aggregates data resources from 11 participating institutions.
