The Kipp and Zonen Pyrgeometer CGR-3L 160216 was deployed on 2024-09-03 on Horseshoe Bay - Departure Bay Ferry Route. This ferry route goes between Horseshoe Bay terminal in West Vancouver, BC and the Departure Bay terminal, Nanaimo BC. This device is a Pyrgeometer. Meteorological radiometers measure electromagnetic radiation in the atmosphere. Pyrgeometers which measure infrared (IR) radiation. It was deployed on a mobile platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
