Syndecan-1 promotes lung fibrosis by regulating epithelial reprogramming through extracellular vesicles (RNA-Seq)

We evaluted the effects of extracellular vesicles of bleomycin-injured wild-type and syndecan-1 deficient mice on mouse lung epithelial cell line (MLE-12) total transcriptomic changes (bulk mRNA sequencing) Overall design: Mouse lung epithelila cells (MLE-12) were treated with bronchoalveolar lavage fluid extracellular vesicles of bleomycin-injured wild type or syndecan-1 deficient mice or regular cell media. The mRNA of MLE-12 cells in 3 conditions were were isolated and processed for bulk mRNA sequencing
