The datasets within correspond to the article “Verification and Validation in Canine Cadaver of Human-Scale, MPI-Integrable RF Coil for Magnetic Particle Hyperthermia”. In the article, we designed, constructed, verified, and validated a human-scale RF heating coil to be used for magnetic particle hyperthermia therapy. The coil was designed to be integrated into a clinical scale magnetic particle imaging scanner for image-guided thermal therapy. We performed validation studies with a canine cadaver head loaded with magnetic particles and clinically relevant thermal simulations using a human head model to assess translatability.
