资源简介:
The Sargent Vertical Jump Test (VJT) is one of the widely used tests for the
measurement of lower limb explosive power and anaerobic performance.
Although it's used all over the world, till date there is no established
“NORMATIVE VALUE FOR SARGENT VERTICAL JUMP TEST IN
INDIAN POPULATION AGED 18 TO 23 YEARS”. This age group consists
of college students and hence is an important group for fitness testing. While
there are some international researches that have yielded norm values for
vertical jumping performance, as with one for the Chinese, such values would
not necessarily describe the physicality and performance capacities of Indian
persons based on ethnic, environmental, and lifestyle disparities.
Considering this deficiency, the current study proposes to derive normative
values for the Sargent Vertical Jump Test particularly for Indian men and
women between the ages of 18 and 23 years.
