资源简介:
Endocrine cells of the gastrointestinal tract secrete multiple hormones to maintain homeostasis of the body. Although specification of these hormones has achieved by multiple studies, the mechanism of how these hormones are secreted is not well studied due to lack of in vitro culture system that reproduce intestinal cell functions in vivo. Recently, three-dimensional culture system called "organoid system" has established which mimic regeneration and differentiation of intestinal epithelium. Although this organoid system made a paradigm shift in analyzing gastrointestinal cells, an overview of how enteroendocrine cells resemble within organoid culture resemble to native epithelial cells in the gut is missing. In this study, we have compared gene expression of EGFP-positive cells and EGFP negative cells from intestinal organoids of Ngn3-EGFP mice.
