Streamlines count as a percentage of the 3 samples in apex, mid-ventricular, base areas for the 3 different tracking algorithms. The ratio is defined as the number of resulting streamlines over the total number of requested streamlines. Variation in connectivity and variability over samples are particularly noticeable for the pathway C. Nevertheless, in all cases, the ratios were found inferior for pathway C for all areas but remained close to 100% (square with red dotted line) in the posterior junction for the base and mid-ventricular level while values were close to 0% in the anterior junction (square with blue dotted line).
