Calibration of reanalysis data in the Atlantic Ocean using satellite data

This repository contains netcdf files with calibration parameters to be applied to reanalysis data. A 10-meter wind intensity calibration of ERA5 reanalysis using satellite data (altimeters and scatterometer) in the Atlantic Ocean is provided by: SatelliteAndERA5_WindAssessmentAndCalibration.nc which has a second calibration dedicated to cyclonic conditions provided by: SatelliteAndERA5_cycl_WindAssessmentAndCalibration.nc A publication is under review, where the validation and calibration model is explained in detail - it will be soon updated to this repository.
