Comparison of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Ericksonian Hypnosis Therapy forDepression and Anxiety Symptoms; Controlled Randomized Study
收藏资源简介:
This randomized controlled trial compared the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy (EH) in reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety among a non-clinical population. A total of 150 individuals were screened, and 45 participants meeting inclusion criteria were randomized into three groups: CBT, EH, or a waitlist control group. Interventions consisted of 12 weekly sessions, with assessments conducted at baseline, mid-intervention, and post-intervention using the Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI). The study aimed to address gaps in the literature by evaluating these therapeutic approaches in individuals with elevated but sub-diagnostic levels of depression and anxiety, providing insights into early intervention strategies and diverse psychotherapeutic modalities.
