This dataset provides the first high-order accurate solution of acoustic scattering from a nonperiodic source by a periodic surface, relevant for waveguide applications such as antennae, diffraction from gratings, photonic/phononic crystals, noise cancellation, and seismic filtering. The dataset uses a combination of the Floquet-Bloch transform and boundary integral equation methods to address the numerical challenges posed by PDEs near infinite, periodic boundaries. It captures trapped acoustic wave modes guided along the corrugated surface. The dataset includes 50 time-steps of 1024x256 images, split into the real and imaginary parts of the acoustic pressure field and the staircase mask. There are 512 trajectories in total, with a total data size of 52.4GB.
