Study of the microbiota profile in goats model infected with Cryptosporidium parvum

The neonatal period is a critical period in which animal establish their microbiota. Various external factors such as enteropathogen infection (example: Cryptosporidium parvum) can influence the balance of the establishment of this microbiota. Some bacteria are known to protect the host from enteropathogen leading to diarrhea. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of cryptosporidial infection as well as the dietary supplementation with two natural products on the microbiota profile during cryptosporidial infection.
