资源简介:
The data presented are from four sediment cores collected by the CALYSO corer on the Marion Dufresne during the EAGER oceanographic campaign in 2018 east of Taiwan in the southern Ryukyu subduction zone (https://doi.org/10.17600/18000520) The sediment cores are named MD18-3528, MD18-3529, MD18-3530 and MD18-3531. They were collected at water depths ranging from 3,329 to 3,591 meters and measure between 13 and 24 meters in length.  For each core, the data provided are - photographic images of the cores (acquired on board the ship during the EAGER cruise) - MSCL Multi-Sensor Core-Logger physical parameter data (table 1 of the xls file) including gamma density, porosity, P-wave velocity and magnetic susceptibility values measured every 1 cm, as well as colorimetry values (reflectance in %, L*, a* and b*) - the chemical compositions of major elements obtained with the Avaatech XRF core-scanner (Avaatech). The selected measurement area was 8 mm, and the step-size was set at 1 cm. Major elements are expressed in counts per second (cps) in table 2 in xls file. These data are used in the following publication in the journal Sedimentology:  BABONNEAU Nathalie, RATZOV Gueorgui, GUERIN Charlotte, RICHA Mira, LALLEMAND Serge, CONDOMINES Michel, BACHELERY Patrick, BOSCH Delphine, HSU Shu-Kun, SU Chih-Chieh, SHINJO Ryuichi, LIN Andrew, BASSETTI Maria-Angela, REVEL Marie, CATTANEO Antonio, and the EAGER scientific team (2025).
