The Keeshond, previously known as the Dutch Barge Dog, is a dog closely related to the German Spitz and the Pomeranian. Originally from Holland, the Keeshond was the symbol of the Patriot faction in the Netherlands after the French Revolution. They are characterized by their plush two-layer coat.
