Reports results of large-scale monitoring and research program for invasive species in protected areas in the National Estuarine Research Reserve System (NERRS) and the National Marine Sanctuary Program (NMSP) along the U.S. West coast. The NERRS, NMSP, and Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) collaborated to create a broad-scale, multi-habitat platform to study invasion patterns and their ecological and economic implications for protected area management.
