资源简介:
This dataset contains the results and analysis presented in "Comparison of Electron Capture Rates in the N=50 Region using 1D Simulations of Core-collapse Supernovae", Johnston et al. (2022). In this work, we ran 612 one-dimensional (1D) core-collapse supernovae (CCSNe) simulations using three different sets of electron-capture (EC) rates as input: 1. IPA: independent particle approximation, a simple parametrization based on Bruenn (1985) 2. LMP: microphysical rate library, including a parametrization based on Langanke et al. (2003) 3. LMP+N50: same as LMP, but with updated rates in the high-sensitivity N=50 region from Titus et al. (2019) 1D CCSN simulations were performed using each EC rate set for 200 stellar progenitors from Sukhbold et al. (2016), ranging in ZAMS mass from 9 to 120 Msun. In addition to this main set of 600 models, we ran a smaller set of simulations for the 12, 20, and 40 Msun progenitors using modified versions of the LMP and LMP+N50 rates, where the rates scaled by factors of 10 and 0.01, resulting in an additional 12 models. The simulations were compared to investigate the impact of the different EC rates on the mechanism and outcome of core-collapse, including the observable neutrino emission. Further detail on the EC rates, the CCSN simulations, and how this data was analyzed is provided in the associated paper. Specific details on the dataset contents are provided in the README file below. If you use this data, please include a citation to this dataset and the associated paper appropriately.
