QuestionTimeParticipant v.1

QuestionTimeParticipant v.1 is a dataset on participants during parliamentary question time sessions from Australia (2011-2022), Belgium (2010-2022), Canada (2006-2022), Croatia (2004-2022) and the UK (2010-2022). Each politician that spoke during a question time session is treated as an observation (e.g. Theresa May, Jeremy Corbyn, Ian Blackford, etc.). The data includes information on participants such as their party affiliation, status (government, opposition), position (opposition, majority, cabinet), role (prime minister, opposition leader, minister of finance, etc.) and gender (male, female). For certain countries, the dataset also provides information on the constituency that each participant belongs to (Australia, Canada and the UK).
