A representative cell cannot fully encapsulate a population

The underlying image data and analysis scripts for Figure 2 of <b><i>Believing is seeing – the deceptive influence of bias in quantitative </i></b><b><i>microscopy</i></b>.The file <i>U2OS_DAPI_488Tubulin_568Lamin_10Tiles_Slide1001.nd2</i> contains a tiled image of fixed cells as described in <i>README.txt</i> and in the associated publication. The relevant channels of this file are also provided as separate tif files (<i>U2OS_DAPI_488Tubulin_568Lamin_10Tiles_Slide1001_DAPI.tif</i>, <i>U2OS_DAPI_488Tubulin_568Lamin_10Tiles_Slide1001_Lamin.tif</i>, and <i>U2OS_DAPI_488Tubulin_568Lamin_10Tiles_Slide1001_Tubulin.tif</i>) to simplify use of the associated MATLAB script (<i>analyzeRepresentativeCells.m</i>). Expected output from the MATLAB script is also provided (<i>analysisOutput.zip</i>)
