INFRA-ART XRF Spectral Data Collection – Reference Materials
收藏资源简介:
INFRA-ART XRF Spectral Data Collection – Reference Materials is a curated reference dataset of XRF spectra of materials relevant to cultural heritage research and conservation. The collection forms part of the INFRA-ART Spectral Library and provides a versioned release of its XRF reference collection at the time of deposition. The dataset comprises 1,202 spectral records acquired from commercially available reference materials, including pigments, artists’ paints, binders, resins, waxes, and other materials commonly encountered in works of art, archaeological artefacts, and other cultural heritage objects. XRF spectra are provided as raw spectral data in CSV (.csv) format. Spectral files are accompanied by structured sample-level descriptive metadata and a metadata dictionary defining the fields used in the collection. A unique SampleID links each spectral file to its metadata and to the corresponding record in the INFRA-ART Spectral Library. The same SampleID also enables cross-technique linkage with FTIR data available for shared reference materials. The collection is intended to support spectral comparison, material characterization and identification, analytical interpretation, method development, computational and data-driven analysis, and education and training in spectral interpretation and materials characterization. This Zenodo deposit provides a persistent and citable version of the collection for bulk access and reuse. The INFRA-ART Spectral Library is a dynamic database; subsequent versions of this dataset may therefore incorporate additions, corrections, and metadata enhancements as the underlying collection develops.
