HeritageTwin Lite – 2D GIS Sketches and 3D Massing Models of Protected Cultural Heritage Buildings

This dataset contains 2D GIS-based sketches and corresponding low-detail 3D massing models generated following the HeritageTwin Lite workflow. The data were produced using exclusively publicly accessible and non-invasive sources, including satellite imagery, open geospatial datasets, publicly available photographs, and archival documentation. No on-site surveys, laser scanning, photogrammetry, UAV acquisition, or sensor data were used. The 2D sketches represent abstracted building footprints and structural outlines created within a GIS environment and exported as simplified planar representations. The 3D models are massing-level reconstructions derived from these 2D sketches, prioritizing geometric plausibility, scale consistency, and volumetric coherence over architectural detail. The dataset is intended to support regulation-compliant Digital Twin research, spatial analysis, qualitative environmental simulation, and methodological reproducibility in protected cultural heritage contexts. These models are not intended for high-fidelity architectural documentation, conservation intervention, or metric surveying purposes.
