If the rate of change in the demand for data storage servers is greater than the rate of change in their prices, the demand for data storage servers is considered elastic, indicating that customers are highly sensitive to price fluctuations of such servers. The greater the elasticity, the more sensitive the demand is to price changes. Enterprises in this industry can appropriately lower the prices of data storage servers in the corresponding city to obtain higher revenues. Conversely, if the demand for data storage servers is inelastic, enterprises in this industry can appropriately raise their prices in the city to gain more revenue. This dataset holds significant importance for the marketing decision-making of all enterprises in this industry operating in Hebei Province.
1. Data Collection: Collect monthly demand and price data of relevant data storage servers, then organize and summarize the data by municipal administrative divisions to obtain the changes in demand and price of these data storage servers.
