The dataset reports the experimental outcomes from an extensive shake-table campaign to observe the out-of-plane hybrid two-way bending response of unreinforced masonry (URM) structures. The U-shaped assemblies were subjected to differential input signals, scaled for incremental loading and exhaustive repetitions. The experiments were carried out at the Structural Laboratory of the University of Minho (Portugal) using a single-degree-of-freedom shake table and a multi-camera Digital Image Correlation (DIC) system. The dataset includes results from over 200 dynamic tests performed on two half-scale U-shaped subjected to two input signals. The U-shapes consisted of a central façade orthogonally connected to side walls, entirely built with granite blocks in a dry-stack configuration. The common boundary conditions scenario for URM of insufficient top horizontal connection was targeted by rigidly fixing the base, geometric interlocking at the corners, and vertical restraint at the end of the side walls. The dataset includes shake-table displacement, velocity and acceleration time histories, Digital Image Correlation outputs such as displacement time histories of several points selected onto the specimens’ surfaces, and load cell data representing the vertical restraint. Supplementary material includes Digital Image Correlation videos of critical seismic responses (collapses and non) synchronised in time with the rest of the data.
