Single cell RNA sequencing was used to measure the transcriptional profiles of 50% epiboly zebrafish embryos treated with constitutive ERK signaling pathway activation by the optogenetic tool photoswitchable MEK or left untreated. All cells from dechorionated 50% epiboly zebrafish embryos that were injected with psMEK mRNA and exposed light at the 1-cell stage for the treated condition were dissociated by manual pipetting. The same was performed for wild type uninjected embryos used in the untreated condition. 7 samples were collected over 4 batches. 3 samples were treated embryos, and 4 samples were untreated embryos.
