资源简介:

This dataset contains the compiled literature-derived Y-DNA haplogroup frequency data, regional geographical sorting corridors, and predictive spatial matrices used to support the framework of Geogenetic Evolution presented in the manuscript: "Hydro-Genetic Dynamics: Fluvial Corridors as Selective Sorting Vectors and Channels for Geogenetic Evolution in the Bengal Basin and Himalayan Foothills" Traditional population genetics models frequently treat human dispersal across alluvial plains as a uniform, isotropic diffusion process. The framework of Geogenetic Evolution proposes that active river systems and micro-distributary networks function as dynamic geographical vectors over deep time, continuously shaping localized endogamy, historical settlement persistence, and genetic boundaries. To facilitate peer review and independent analysis, this spreadsheet (Supplementary_Material_Data_S1.xlsx) is structured into two main worksheets: Lineage_Frequencies: A consolidated data matrix pairing regional genetic sample nodes (Haplogroup H vs. Haplogroup P/R1a) with corresponding fluvial vectors, sample sizes (n), primary peer-reviewed literature sources, and historical/classical ethnonym contexts (Gangaridai, Vanga, Pundra, Suhma, Harikela). Data_Gaps_&_Predictions: A systematic matrix detailing major geographic gaps in contemporary deltaic genetic literature (e.g., the Lower Tetulia Axis, Chalan Bil Core, and Meghna Estuary) alongside the localized, testable biogeographical predictions generated by the geogenetic sieve model. Keywords Human Biogeography, Landscape Genetics, Fluvial Geomorphology, Bengal Basin, Y-DNA Haplogroups, Population Stratification, Socio-Ecological Niches
