资源简介:
The zero-carbon building concept involves buildings with low emissions that operate efficiently because most of their energy needs come from renewable sources. However, this concept has financial implications for building managers. Good lighting is equally important in the teaching and learning process as it is in how lessons are delivered. Under certain conditions, sunlight can create a glare effect due to excessive light intensity, and artificial light can also cause glare due to excessive contrast between the light and the object on display. Visual comfort is not necessarily improved by certain zero-carbon school buildings, even though they may reduce carbon emissions. The purpose of this study is to investigate the educational activities, classroom settings, natural lighting performance, and visual comfort for students in school classrooms utilizing zero-carbon construction approaches. To examine students' perceptions and light distribution in the classroom, a mixture method of research design using questionnaires and regression correlation analysis methods. The results indicate that net-zero carbon buildings can effectively reduce emission loads and meet technical standards for lighting requirements. However, they may not ensure students' visual comfort due to the seating positions that do not allow for glare reduction intervention.
