The development of cognitive processes during adolescence is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that determines the intellectual, emotional, and social maturity of an individual. This article examines the stages of cognitive development in adolescents and their psychological and pedagogical characteristics. The study highlights the role of attention, memory, thinking, perception, and imagination in the formation of cognitive competence. Special emphasis is placed on the influence of educational environment, social interaction, and psychological support on adolescents’ cognitive growth. The findings indicate that systematic pedagogical support and developmental learning strategies significantly enhance adolescents’ cognitive activity and academic performance.
