资源简介:
In Senegal, livestock farming accounts for almost a third of households and almost half of the rural population. Urban livestock farming is mainly based on short-cycle animals, including the Ladoum sheep, which has become the most popular breed among Senegalese. The aim of this study is to genetically characterise Ladoum sheep in order to verify a probable genetic differentiation and structuring in relation to their belonging to different localities (Dakar and Thies) and to determine their demographic evolution. The study concerned two localities : Dakar (14 individuals) and Thies (30 individuals). BioEdit version 7.0.5.3 was used to clean and correct the sequences obtained. DnaSP version 5.10, MEGA version 7.0.14 and Arlequin version 3.5.1.3 were used to highlight the parameters of variability, differentiation and demo-genetic evolution. Our results show significant variability in beta-fibrinogen (18.50%) compared with results found in the literature. The genetic diversity results indicate that our populations are undergoing rapid demographic growth, and this was confirmed by the results of the demogenetic tests. The study also indicated that there are no genetic differences between individuals in the two localities and that all of the genetic variation in the total population is explained by genetic diversity between individuals within a population (locality). Our results also show that there was no genetic differentiation or structuring of Ladoum sheep according to locality in Senegal.
